Our biostimulant Amoravis™ is based on a Swedish scientific breakthrough. Researchers discovered that oxytocin – a peptide found in all organisms, from insects to mammals – also influences plant growth and establishment.
The discovery was made by Karolinska Institutet professor Kerstin Uvnäs Moberg, through interdisciplinary research conducted together with Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). Her studies demonstrated clear growth-promoting effects in plants and form the scientific foundation of our patents and our product.
The peptide is water-soluble and naturally breaks down within a few hours. It does not pass through the cell membrane. Oxytocin is safe for plants, the environment, and consumers. A single treatment of seeds, tubers, or cuttings is sufficient for the entire growing season.

- How do I use Amoravis™ for potato cultivation?
Amoravis™ integrates easily into existing farming routines for potatoes. When placing an order, the farm specifies how much water is used per hectare. Letavis delivers Amoravis™ adjusted to your needs. The product is ready to use, pre-dosed based on the farm’s water usage. Before planting, seeds, cuttings, or seed potatoes are pretreated by dipping or soaking in an Amoravis solution – either on rolling tables or directly at planting with the help of a planter.
- What effect can I expect from using Amoravis™?
Amoravis™ creates the conditions for stronger and more efficient growth. For example, we have seen yield increases of up to over 25% in certain potato varieties. The product stimulates root development, enables faster establishment, and thereby increases both yield and quality. After that, it is up to the grower to manage the crop and take advantage of these conditions. We have solid knowledge of the dose-response at species level, but effects can vary between different varieties. Achieving maximum results requires continued practical experience.
